Sintered Vents

Sintered vents are produced by using sintering process of powder metals. It has many paralleled, straight micro pores that allow air, gas purge. It is also called mold sintered vents or mold gas vents. And used as gas purging vent during aluminum high pressure or low pressure die castings and resin molding. When injecting molten resin or lower pressure casting aluminum alloys. If a certain amount of air or gas from the raw material remains in the cavity. It can cause finished product defects. After repeated tests, our stainless steel sintering vents can effectively help purify the air and gas during the molding process.

1.Sintered Vents For Plastic Injection Mold Applications

Sintered Vents with very fine pores have been used successfully in venting system for plastic injection mold applications.

Plastic injection mold sintered vents with pore diameter 0.2mm allow the passage of trapped air or gases within the mold. But still block the passage of the molten plastic. Boyi high quality stainless steel sintered vents, you are able to save replacement time and increases productivity.

2.Sintered Vents For Gravity and Low Pressure Die-Casting or Vacuum Casting Applications

Die casting mold sintered vents are inserted into molding dies to make assure flawless casting. They allow the escape of gas and prevent the passage of casting materials.

Boyi Sintered Vents with a pore diameter of 0.3mm for larger, low-pressure and gravity die-cast parts. And 0.5mm diameter for smaller parts. For Low pressure die-cast or vacuum casting parts, pore diameters with a range between 0.4mm – 0.3mm work best. And are commonly used for venting systems in permanent mold casting of aluminum alloys.
